French Fashion Designer,Rykiel Sonia dies at age 86


French designer, Rykiel Sonia dies at age 84 ,her daughter Nathalie has confirmed today.The enigmatic may 25 ,1930 Paris born became famous in Paris fashion scene when her eponymous first store opened in 1964 in paris 's left bank.Rykiel had  Briggeti Bardot,Catherine Denueve and Audrey Hepburn as her first clients and awarded the order of 'Légion d'honneur' in recognition of her 40 years in the French fashion industry.

Nathalie, Sonia daughter remains closely tied to Rykiel label and the former model who model for the fashion line had a tire long ago and is the President of Rykiel Sonia ready to wear label.VOUGE
