Abuja_the minister of transportation, Rotimi Ameachi has revealed that the President 'Muhammad Buhari Administration has recovered 3.4trillion in cash and assets from the Nigeria treasury looters in the last Administration. Vanguard

The minister also reveal that the federal government has also discovered 115 billion looted cash and assets in the United States,United Emirates and United Kingdom.this as deduce from the Minister's speech at the 34th Cambridge University International Symposium on Economic crime,he also discussed, further addressing the present administration As a cardinal point for fighting corruption and to inspire Committed fellowship through the force of example.


Ameachi Continued ' In our country, since Buhari was elected the president ,he has not for once left any one in doubt of the muster that the fight against corruption will not be only taken seriously,but will form a cardinal plank of his policy direction.

President Buhari has stated that the achieved funds cannot rescue Nigeria's Economyas they are not close to what the country needs to revive the economy.


According to the minister of Budget and national planning' Udoma Udo Udoma,the recovered looted funds will be use in funding part of the 2017 Budget.NEWS24
